Today, within the framework of the 15th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Agriculture and 27th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Agrarian Innovation Center, “Sapmaz” Aviation and Advanced Technologies and “Azersun Holding” LLC.
The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey Vahit Kirishchi, AKP Istanbul MP Shamil Ayrim, President of Azersun Holding Abdulbari Gozal.
The memorandum was signed by Akbar Abbasov, director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, Sardar Sapmaz, official of Sapmaz Aviation and Advanced Technologies, and Mohammad Gozal, director of agriculture of Azersun Holding LLC.
According to the memorandum, within the framework of the permit issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey, trainings on unmanned aerial vehicle management will be held for specialists from Azerbaijan. At the same time, according to the agreement, the Turkish company, which has a license to produce agricultural control equipment, will supply unmanned aerial vehicles on request.
According to the agreement, Turkish specialists will conduct multi-spectral drone autopilot surveys, measure soil fertility, detect pests, determine the vegetation index, as well as spray herbicides and pesticides by spraying drones, as well as other theoretical and practical trainings.
