"GreenAgroHack" startup contest awarding ceremony was held

Within the framework of the "Caspian Agro 2024" exhibition, the "GreenAgroHack" hackathon competition organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, Azerbaijan Technical University, "Information Valley Baku Center" and a number of acceleration and incubation centers has ended.

Within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World", students of the country's higher educational institutions and secondary schools participated in the competition, which was held for 29 hours, 29 minutes, and 29 seconds at the "Baku Expo" Center on May 15-16.

Participants from 19 higher education institutions and 5 secondary schools participated in the startup competition. 4 winning teams were awarded at the hackathon competition, which ended on May 16.

"Ecoquad", which unites students of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and Baku State University in one team, was awarded the 1st place in the competition. At the end of 29 hours, the mentioned team proposed the innovative solution "Agrorobot", which carries out fertilizing and spraying in farms.

"Ground Up" team, represented by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, won the 2nd place by proposing the solution "Hydrogen gas purchase".

 The " Null team, consisting of students from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, ADA University, Baku Engineering University and Khazar University, which collects air, water, soil, humidity and moisture indicators and offers a solution for automatic irrigation technology, won the 3rd place. seen.

In the competition, which was attended by secondary schools as well as higher educational institutions, High School of Humanities, 288, 13 and 42 secondary schools and Azerbaijan State University of Economics united under the team "Joshua Tech" and developed the "Farmer's Friend" mobile application. "Joshua Tech" team, which developed a mobile application that includes consulting service for farmers, won the 4th place.
