An event called "Future of 100 years" was held within the framework of the "Skills for the Future" project implemented by the "Innovations Center" of the State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
First, the presentation of the startups of the I and II Tusi Incubation programs took place.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education, and Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, BP's Vice President for External Relations and Communication in the Caspian Region, spoke at the opening ceremony.
Videos showing the social-political and statehood activities of General Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the work done within the framework of the mentioned project, were shown.
In total, 181 startup ideas of more than 2000 students were submitted to the project. In this framework, 98 startup teams were formed with the support of more than 130 teachers trained as mentors in universities.
At the end of the event, the "ABC" team consisting of students of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and the Azerbaijan Technical University, evaluated by the jury, won the 1st place, the "Agro-Bot" team, consisting of students of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, which regularly participates in Agrarian Innovation Festivals, won the 2nd place. The "Vooshii" team, consisting of students of Baku Engineering University, was awarded the 3rd place and the winners were presented with prizes. At the same time, the participants of the mentoring program were awarded with a certificate.
