The next Agrarian Innovation Festival organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture was held in Gusar district. Within the framework of the festival, the 4th seed exhibition-sale fair of the season was organized. Farmers and seed producers from Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Siyazan, Shabran and Khizi regions participated in the festival. 

Agrarian Innovation Center, Agrarian Services Agency, State Seed Fund, Azerbaijan Seed Growers' Association jointly organized the seed exhibition-sale fair with presentations on the correct selection of seeds according to local conditions and soil characteristics, the importance of agrotechnical care in increasing productivity, and the importance of giving preference to certified seeds as planting material. has been Within the framework of the festival, farmers engaged in seed production were trained by the experts of the Scientific Research Institute of Vegetables.

Opening the event with an opening speech, the head of the Gusar District Executive Authority, Shair Alkhasov, informed about the work done in the field of agriculture in the district and emphasized that these festivals give a great impetus to the development of the agricultural sector.

Anar Jafarov, director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, said that the main goal of the Agrarian Innovation Festivals held regularly in the regions is to ensure access to agricultural products and technologies for farmers living in the regions. A. Jafarov added that about 30 seed growers and more than 60 companies are represented with their products at today's festival.

Anar Azimov, deputy chairman of the Agrarian Services Agency, who spoke at the festival, touched on the contributions of the measures and projects implemented in the direction of food security, as well as the development of agriculture. The deputy chairman added that seed exhibition and sales fairs play an important role in establishing direct relations between farmers and seed producers.

Madina Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Azerbaijan Seed Growers' Association, spoke about the role of seed exhibition and sale fairs organized within the framework of festivals in the formation of the seed market and noted that such events are one of the important steps towards the development of the seed industry.

In accordance with the tradition of Agrarian Innovation Festivals, a demonstration of techniques and technologies was held within the framework of the event with the participation of more than 60 local and foreign companies specializing in the agrarian field.

During the festival, the event participants were given detailed information about the activities and services of the Ministry of Agriculture and other state enterprises and information materials were presented. 

The next festival will be held on September 8 in Agjabedi district.
