The Agrarian Business Festival was held in Yardimli

Agrarian Business Festivals organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture continue. The next festival took place in Yardimli district.

Farmers from Yardimli, Lerik, Astara, Lankaran, Masalli regions participated in the Agrarian Business Festival held under the Ministry of Economy in partnership with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Consumer Goods Expertise Center. At the festival held at Yardimli Heydar Aliyev Center, hundreds of farmers got acquainted with innovations in agriculture. State institutions participating in the festival presented their services and answered farmers' questions.

Various fertilizers and pesticides, equipment and aggregates, new technologies were demonstrated at the festival. Within the framework of the event, various products were put on sale by companies engaged in the supply and supply of agricultural products, as well as female members of the Azerbaijan Rural Women's Association demonstrated and sold their products.

In accordance with the priorities of the COP29 event, alternative energy devices, ecological products, climate change-resistant local fruit and vegetable seeds and products were exhibited at the festival.

Companies specializing in the agricultural field shared their successful experiences with farmers, as well as information on the innovative technologies they apply in their farms, regarding the determination of the agricultural potential and perspective of the region and the development of agricultural areas suitable for the region. Farmers were trained by agronomists of private companies at the festival. After the presentation, farmers' questions were answered by experts.

It should be noted that the Agrarian Business Festival held in Yardimli district is the 12th festival organized this year. At the festivals that bring together the parties who have a role in the development of agribusiness, conditions have been created for more farmers-entrepreneurs to benefit from financial support and state concessions.
