The next Agrarian Business Festival was held in Siyazan district under the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. The next seed exhibition-sale fair and credit fair were organized att the festival, where agricultural products and technologies are exhibited.
Institutions and companies operating in the country and representing the state and private sector specialized in various fields of the agrarian sector participated in the festival. At the fair, awareness sessions were organized for farmers about the benefits of certified seed.
At the festival, the farmers got acquainted with the certified seeds of newly regionalized different plant varieties belonging to local and foreign breeding and placed their orders for future plantings. In addition to the exhibition and sale of seeds at the festival in Siyazan district, in accordance with the tradition of festivals, agricultural machinery, modern irrigation methods and technologies, samples of fertilizers, pesticides and other agricultural products, as well as the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change session (COP29) initiative priorities products were exhibited. In addition to traditional products, alternative energy devices, ecological products, local fruit and vegetable seeds resistant to climate change were displayed in the exhibition section.
During the event, trainings were organized for farmers on the priority directions of the agrarian field.
At the festival, Tajeddin Misirzadeh, the chief agronomist of Agro Dairy LLC, gave trainings to seed producers and farmers on the topic of "The current state of seed production", the questions of farmers were answered in detail, and relevant advice and recommendations were given.
Also, within the framework of the festival, a training was held on "Method and application of integrated control against harmful organisms" by Kanan Tapdigli, a specialist of the Agrarian Training Center of the Agrarian Services Agency.
At the festival, which was received with interest by farmers, ideas and experiences were exchanged, advice and recommendations were given on topics of interest to them.
