With the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, seed exhibition-sale fairs continue in the regions. The next seed exhibition-sale fair and Agrarian Business Festival were held in Masalli and Neftchala districts.

The main purpose of holding the fairs in different regions is the formation of the seed market, holding business and efficient meetings, ensuring the availability of certified seeds for farmers. At the same time, these events provide opportunities for farmers to get acquainted with innovations in this field, to establish direct contact with producers, and to exchange experiences.

In the seed exhibition and sale fair held in front of the administrative building of the Masalli District Executive Authority and in Huseyin Javid park of Neftchala district with the joint partnership of the institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, the "Azerbaijan Seed Growers Association" Public Union and private companies operating in this field, private seed growers, seeds companies engaged in production and sale participated.

At the seed exhibition and sale fairs, highly reproduced, certified seeds for planting autumn cereals were displayed.

Within the framework of the Seed exhibition and sale fair in Masalli region "II Forum of Seed Growers of the Republic" was held. Experts from Agrarian Services Agency, Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, "Azerbaijan Seeds Association" as well as "Agro Dairy", "Azersun" and "Region Agro" companies spoke at the forum.

During the forum, presentations were made on the creation and proper use of high-yielding seed varieties, determination of seed varieties and sowing qualities, application of new innovative technologies in seed production, development prospects of private seed production, and state support in the provision of seed subsidies, and discussions were held on the topic. At the forum, opinions and suggestions of seed farmers were heard.

It should be noted that at the Agrarian Business Festival held in Neftchala district, a panel discussion on "Development prospects of agricultural potential of Shirvan-Salyan economic district" was held. During the panel, topics related to fishing, which are the main priority areas of the region, as well as various areas of seed production and agriculture, were touched upon. The experts of the Agrarian Services Agency, Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, Agricultural and Veterinary Scientific Research Institutes from the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture spoke and exchanged views on the priority directions of the region's agriculture.

Within the framework of the events, a credit fair for farmers was also organized. Various profitable loan products were offered to farmers at the credit fair. Also, at the festival, according to the new decision of the Agrarian Subsidy Council, information related to subsidies was carried out on determination of planting, crop and seed coefficients, seed and seedling quotas and planting needs in the field of horticulture for 2025.

At the festivals, according to the priorities of the COP29 initiative, ecological products, agricultural technologies, various plant seeds, services related to the agrarian field, including agrarian insurance products were presented to the participants. During the festival, farmers were informed about agrarian insurance, its working principle, scope and benefits.

It should be noted that the seed exhibition and sale fair was held in 8 districts this year under the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center. It is planned to hold the next seed exhibition-sale fairs in Balakan, Gakh, Jalilabad, Beylagan and Shabran regions.
