An Agrarian Business Festival was held in Masalli district with the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the partnership of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Consumer Goods Expertise Center and the Confederation of Entrepreneurs. Subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Science and Education, as well as bank and non-bank credit organizations participated in the festival. At the festival held at the "ASAN service" center in Masalli, various agricultural equipment and products of interest to farmers were displayed, and experts from various institutions informed about the support provided to farmers and entrepreneurs within the framework of public and private sector cooperation.
Speaking at the festival, the head of the Masalli District Executive Authority, Araz Ahmadov, emphasized the importance of such events held in the district to educate farmers and that he would contribute to the agricultural sector.
In his speech, the deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ishti Mammadov said that the demand of the country's population for many food products is met through local production. The agrarian sector, which is one of the leading directions of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan, is developing successfully.
Anar Jafarov, director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, emphasized that there are wide opportunities for cooperation in these festivals, which make farmers' access to agrarian innovations and financial sources accessible.
Later, Vugar Zeynalov, Vice-President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sakina Babayeva, Chairperson of the Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, and Gulbeniz Ganbarova, the Chairperson of the Association of Rural Women of Azerbaijan, made a speech to get acquainted with the innovations in this field, establish direct contact with producers, and exchange experience. They noted that these events held in the regions are important for farmers and entrepreneurs.
Agricultural machinery, modern irrigation technologies, plant protection tools, various plant and vegetable seeds were displayed in the exhibition section.
At the next credit fair held as part of the festival, farmers were informed about preferential loans. Farmers' questions regarding the terms of granting agricultural loans, various loan products and other issues were answered.
In addition, various products were put on sale by companies engaged in the supply and supply of agricultural products at the festival, and female members of the Azerbaijan Women's Entrepreneurship Development Association and the Azerbaijan Rural Women's Association demonstrated and sold their products.
Within the framework of the festival, the Agrarian Training Center, the Agrarian Insurance Fund and a private company held trainings for farmers on the priority areas of the field under the Agrarian Services Agency.
