Agrarian Business Festival was held in Ismayilli with the organization of Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Farmers from Agsu, Ismayilli, Gobustan, Gabala, Agdash, Goychay, Shamakhi regions participated in the festival.

Subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy, other state institutions and representatives of private companies were represented at the event.

During the festival, farmers got a visual experience with GPS technologies, modern irrigation systems, agricultural techniques, samples of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and climate-friendly techniques and technologies, placed on the agricultural machinery offered by various companies, and received information about the rules of use and technical indicators.

A presentation on "The role of climate change in agriculture and measures to be implemented within the framework of COP29" was held within the framework of the festival. At the same time, during the event, videos on the topics of efficient use of water and land resources and biodiversity were shown in accordance with the priorities of the COP29 initiative.

Also, by bringing together parties who have a role in the development of agribusiness at the festival, conditions have been created for more farmers-entrepreneurs to benefit from financial support and state benefits. Thus, about 10 banks and non-bank credit organizations participating in the festival gave farmers detailed information about agricultural loans, various loan products, added value of agricultural loans in agriculture and other issues.

Within the framework of the event, female members of the Azerbaijan Women's Entrepreneurship Development Association and the Azerbaijan Rural Women's Association demonstrated and sold their products. In addition, training on best advanced agricultural practices was held at the festival.

The private company provided training to beekeepers on the topic of "Medicine-free cleaning of honey bees from varroa mites and environmentally friendly honey production strategy". During the training, the process of cleaning bees from varroa mites was shown to the farmers.

It should be noted that in the current year, the Agrarian Business Festival is organized in 7 economic regions, Salyan, Yevlakh, Masalli, Guba, Gazakh, Gabala and Ismayilli regions, with the cooperation of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Consumer Goods Expertise Center and the Confederation of Entrepreneurs. was held.
