An Agrarian Business Festival was held in Goygol within the IV National Yaylag Festival

The 4th National Yaylag Festival was organized in the Goygol region on August 15-17 to promote Azerbaijan's rich pasture culture, national heritage, and agricultural potential.

The festival, organized at the Khan Yurdu plateau with the initiative of the Javad Khan History and Culture Foundation, the partnership of the executive authority of the Goygol region, other state agencies, including the Ministry of Agriculture, and the support of the private sector, lasted 3 days. Within the framework of the festival, the Agrarian Business Festival, organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center, brought together the country's agricultural sector, innovative solutions and business opportunities. At the Agrarian Business Festival, farmers, agricultural producers, processing enterprises, exporters, innovation companies got acquainted with agricultural products and technologies, various plant seeds, new services related to the agricultural sector, including agricultural insurance products. Participants noted that such events are important in terms of establishing new business relationships in the agricultural sector, expanding the reach of local producers' products to wider markets, and increasing the potential of agrotourism.

Within the framework of the festival, the Scientific Research Institutes of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Artificial Insemination Center, the Agricultural Credit and Development Agency, and the Agricultural Insurance Fund were represented with their products and services.

During the event, representatives of the Agricultural Insurance Fund made a presentation on the state-supported agricultural insurance mechanism in our country, and the participants provided extensive information on the advantages of agricultural insurance, loss calculation, payment to farmers, and agricultural insurance products. Then, insurance payments were provided to farmers whose farms suffered losses under the risks stipulated in the insurance contract.

It should be noted that the IV National Summer Festival is an event of great importance in terms of contributing to the tourism potential of the region and promoting agricultural traditions, culture, and national cuisine. In terms of the richness of the program and the large number of participants, the festival is considered a successful example of public-private partnership.
