Seed exhibition and sales fairs continue in the regions with the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. The next seed exhibition-sale fair of the season and the Agrarian Business Festival were held in Goranboy and Tartar regions.

Farmers from Goranboy, Dashkasan, Goygol, Samukh districts covering Ganja-Dashkasan economic district and Tartar, Aghjabedi, Aghdam, Barda districts of Karabakh economic district participated in the event.

Institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, other state enterprises, local seed producers, large companies engaged in the production and sale of seeds, as well as local companies specializing in other fields of agriculture participated in the traditionally held seed exhibition and sale fairs.

At the festivals, agricultural products and technologies, certified seeds of various grain and vegetable plant varieties were shown to the participants.

Within the framework of the festival, products were exhibited in accordance with the priorities of the initiative of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). Alternative energy devices, ecological products, local fruit and vegetable seeds resistant to climate change were displayed in the exhibition section.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Anar Jafarov, director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, noted that the holding of seed exhibition-sale fairs in different regions of the country gives farmers the opportunity to get acquainted with the innovations in this field, establish direct contact with producers, and exchange experience.

Within the framework of the event, farmers were given extensive information about obtaining certified seeds, correct selection of varieties according to the soil and climate characteristics of the regions, and cleaning of seeds.  The relevant agencies of the Ministry of Agriculture provided prompt consultation services regarding questions that may arise from farmers.

At the festivals held in Goranboy and Tartar regions, trainings on seed and plant protection measures were held by specialists in order to educate farmers.

"Choosing the right seed before autumn planting" by Khatira Mammadova, director of the "Region Agro" company at the event held at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Goranboy district, and "Method and application of integrated control of harmful organisms" by Kanan Tapdigli, a specialist of the Agrarian Training Center of the Agrarian Services Agency, trainings were held at the festival organized in Tartar region.

Within the framework of the event, a Credit Fair was organized for farmers. Farmers were offered various profitable credit products and informational materials were presented at the credit fair.

It should be noted that the next seed exhibition and sale fairs organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center are planned to be held in Gakh, Balaken, Masalli, Neftchala, Beylagan, Shabran and Jalilabad regions.
