The Agrarian Business Festival was held in Gadabey

The final Agrarian Business Festival of the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region was held in Gadabey district under the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. Farmers from Gadabey, Dashkasan, Goygol, Gazakh, Tovuz, Agstafa, Shamkir regions participated in the festival.

At the festival held at the Heydar Aliyev Center, various fertilizers and pesticides, modern equipment and aggregates, as well as new technologies, as well as products of local companies operating in this economic region were displayed. Within the framework of the festival, a panel discussion was held on "Future development prospects of the agricultural sector of Kazakh-Tovuz economic region". At the event, there were presentations on the current situation and the application of innovative technologies in the areas of vegetable growing, grain growing and animal husbandry in the region with the participation of experts from the Department of Organization and Monitoring of Crop Production of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Scientific Research Institute of Horticulture, Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and private companies specialized in the agricultural field. At the panel session, opinions were exchanged on the priority areas of the region's agriculture, proposals were recorded.

During the festival, experts from farms with high productivity indicators, new approaches and innovative technologies, and following agrochemical maintenance rules, shared their experiences in order to promote and expand innovative farms in the regions. Within the framework of the festival, in accordance with the priorities of the COP29 initiative, videos on the topics of efficient use of water and land resources and biodiversity were shown.

At the same time, about 10 banks and non-bank credit organizations participated in the festival in order to support the development of entrepreneurship in the region and raise awareness about preferential loans. Farmers' questions about loans were answered in detail by experts.

It should be noted that festivals have been organized in Aghstafa, Gazakh, Shamkir, Tovuz regions of the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region until now under the organization of the Center. About 4,600 farmers, about 100 state institutions, and local and foreign companies specializing in agriculture participated in these festivals.
