The Agrarian Business Festival, held in the regions by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, continues. The next such festival was organized in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center in the Dashkasan district.
Farmers from nearby regions also took part in the festival.
Government agencies participating in the event made presentations of their products and services, and informed farmers about modern irrigation systems, agricultural machinery, seed samples, fertilizers, pesticides and environmentally friendly methods and technologies, as well as the rules for their use. GPS technologies placed on agricultural machinery offered by various companies and controlled remotely aroused great interest among the participants. Alternative energy sources, organic products, local fruit and vegetable seeds resistant to climate change were also presented at the festival.
In accordance with the priorities of the initiative of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in our country, videos on the efficient use of water resources and land resources and biodiversity were shown. Also, as part of the festival, farmers were trained in the Agency for Agricultural Services in accordance with the priority areas of the agricultural sector on the topic of "Methods of integrated control of plant diseases and pests". It should be noted that the Agrarian Business Festival is a platform that unites entrepreneurs and farmers and makes an important contribution to the educational process. The festival brought together parties that play a role in the development of agribusiness, created conditions for more farmer-entrepreneurs to receive financial support and state concessions. Farmers were provided with detailed information on agricultural loans, various credit products, added value created by agricultural loans in agriculture, and other issues.
