A meeting was held between the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Association of Rural Women of Azerbaijan. At the meeting, a discussion was held about ensuring and supporting the employment of women who are agribusiness representatives, and about women's groups operating in the field of agriculture.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Rural Women's Association Gulbeniz Ganbarova talked about the works and projects carried out by the Association. He informed about the development and impetus given to women's entrepreneurial activity by the Women's Development and Enterprise Groups operating in the regions, as well as the conditions created by these groups for providing employment to more women.

At the meeting, Anar Jafarov, director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, spoke about the representation of women's groups at the Agrarian Innovation Festivals regularly organized in the regions in order to support the social and economic development of rural women. He emphasized that an opportunity was created to display and sell various products made by women entrepreneurs at the festivals, as well as assistance was provided in establishing and implementing relations with local companies in order to solve the existing deficiencies in their farms.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that more women entrepreneurs should be involved in the festivals to be held in the regions this year for the purpose of development and promotion of women's entrepreneurship.
