The next Agrarian Innovation Festival organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture was held in Zagatala.

At the event organized on the territory of the private farm, Scientific Research Institutes of the Ministry of Agriculture, higher education institutions and local companies operating in the agricultural sector of country demonstrated their innovative projects and technological equipment to farmers.

New irrigation sytem methods that increase productivity in the gardens and fields, measuring instruments and laboratory equipment for agriculture and food industry, medical and sanitary equipment and drugs for animal farming, sensors and devices related to fuel management, agricultural machinery, alternative energy sources, beehives based on the “Smart” system, various fodder plants and vegetable seedlings were demonstrated at the festival.

Prototypes prepared by the winners of “Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival” and by students of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University were also presented at the festival.   

With the participation of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural product producers were given extensive information about rotational cropping and summer plowing.

It should be noted that a series of events organized by Agrarian Innovation Center were carried out in Guba, Ujar, Gobustan and Aghstafa districts during the year.
