On the initiative of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, a demonstration of the green fodder container device was held on the territory of the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute based on the implementation of the "Green fodder production complex" project. Representatives of the State Agrarian Development Centers, the company producing the device and more than 100 farmers participated in the event.

During the presentation, information was given on the importance of the green fodder production facility, which is optimal for all types of farms, in order to meet the demand for feed in the livestock sector, and the opportunities it can bring to farmers.

A feed container is a device that produces green feed for animal husbandry using the eco-friendly hydroponics method. Green hydroponic feed - increases the quantity and quality of milk, meat and eggs in animals, as well as strengthens the immune system of animals, minimizing the possibility of them contracting many diseases.

Depending on the size of the farm,through this sytem, it is possible to obtain a daily minimum of 50 kg and a maximum of 20 tons of green fodder from grain with a high germination rate without applying any fertilizers. Green hydroponic fodder will be used as the main fodder in the animal husbandry complex, significantly increasing the level of fodder supply throughout the year and will significantly reduce the cost of meat and dairy products. From this point of view, partial or complete transition to the use of green fodder is an efficient way to increase the volume and quality of production of meat and dairy products in the livestock sector.

At the event, the feeding of large and small-horned animals, as well as poultry with green feed produced in a feed container was visually demonstrated. Also, agro-robots and agrodrones of various purposes were demonstrated during the presentation. It is planned to continue the mobile demonstration of the feed container and other innovative devices in many regions of our country. The next presentation will be held in the city of Sheki.
