"Festival of Innovation" in Shaki

Green fodder container equipment, maralfalfa, amaranth, quinoa plants, as well as agrodrone, agro-robots and "Flow Hive" type honey bee boxes were presented at the event in order to solve fodder problems in the livestock sector. At the event, which was held with the participation of more than 150 farmers from 14 regions, the producers of agricultural products were informed about the innovative technological equipment and fodder plants for agricultural purposes. It was stated that since feed costs account for approximately 70% of the expenses in animal husbandry and quality and nutritious feed is the basis of animal health, every farmer wishes to use economically efficient feed with high nutritional values. Green fodder makes up 30-35% of the total fodder production in farms.

However, in many cases, there are difficulties in providing green fodder at different times of the year. The main purpose of the mentioned setup is to obtain fresh vegetative mass, which is rich in vitamins and biologically active substances. The main purpose of the mentioned facility is to obtain fresh vegetative mass, which is rich in vitamins and biologically active substances. Such feeds are important for full nutrition of animals in winter conditions. Through this system, it is possible to obtain any amount of fodder according to the requirements of livestock farms.

It was also stated that biological control means are the main alternative in minimizing chemical pesticides used in the protection of agricultural plants from diseases, pests and weeds. Application of traps using the pheromones of pest insects is one of the effective methods. The fact that it is widely used in the production of organic products, does not create toxin residue in the product, does not have a negative effect on the soil, water and living things, proves the advantage of pheromone traps from an ecological point of view.

With the production of pheromone traps, it is possible to reduce the amount of chemical pesticides per unit area by 25-50%, to contribute to the increase of export potential by achieving the minimization of contamination with pesticide residues in the produced products.

Among the presented devices, "Flow Hive" type honey bee boxes are widespread among beekeepers in many countries of the world. The advantage of the mentioned innovative boxes is the possibility of filtering honey with special technologies without interfering with the beehive.

On the initiative of the Agrarian Innovation Center, it is planned to hold the next demonstration of such innovative presentations in the Fuzuli region.
